Meet the Happy Hippy founders:

David L. Bio:

Married with three strapping sons and three adorable grandchildren. Great career in the Fire Rescue Service; Florida Paramedic for over 20 years, promoted through the ranks and retired as Deputy Fire Chief (Operations). Since then worked as a Real Estate Appraiser, went back to college and finished a second degree, pursued a teaching career, and also worked in a variety of service-oriented jobs. For the past several years have done local volunteer work and traveled the country extensively in an RV with lovely wife and various rescue dogs (and Umbrella Cockatoo) in tow. Love camping, exploring, and the freedom that only an RV can offer. David is excited to be part of managing a new American company delivering quality outdoor products.

 

Ron R Bio:

Married to his High School Sweetheart for 35 years, with two beautiful daughters and three adorable grandchildren.  Great career in the Fire Rescue Service; Florida Paramedic for over 28 years, promoted through the ranks and retired as Battalion Chief (A-Battalion). He also served as EMS Chief for several years. Early in his career, he invented several cutting-edge EMS products that are the industry standard to this day. The first truly adjustable Cervical Spine Collar, a much improved Endotracheal Tube Holder, and a much improved Cervical Immobilization Device (CID). Ron has created and run several small businesses in his time – including cell phone sales/service, retail second-hand home goods, lawn maintenance, and as a contractor for Florida Power and Light (concrete, sod, sprinkler repairs). Ron has now started this company by inventing/developing two unique and just Dirt-Plain Practical products that are perfect for the Revel Van, and are also adaptable to any other camper van or RV setup.
